WHAT IS MICROSOFT WINDOWS 95 HOW AND WHY?
=========================================
Microsoft Windows 95 How & Why is a multimedia guide to the features
and operation of the new Windows 95 operating system. Drawn from three
recent books published by Microsoft Press, Windows 95 How & Why lets
you quickly get instructions on how to accomplish tasks using Windows 95,
while also providing "why" sections with in-depth discussions of the
options users face in learning this powerful operating system.
Windows 95 How & Why provides you with access to
* Index-based and text-based searching for terms and concepts
* A "cue card" view that lets you keep Windows 95 How & Why
on top of your application
* A quick visual overview of Windows 95
* Troubleshooting tips for the most commonly encountered problems.
Note: The information in Windows 95 How & Why contains the most current
information available about Windows 95 at the time Windows 95 How & Why
was completed on June 30, 1995. Slight changes in interface or operation
may take place before Windows 95 is completed.

* 4 MB RAM (8 MB recommended)

STARTUP INSTRUCTIONS
====================
If your system recognizes an AutoPlay CD-ROM, the opening screen
will appear automatically when the CD-ROM is inserted in your CD player.
Choose a button on the opening screen to start Windows 95 How & Why
or Exposition. Click Exit to quit.
If your CD-ROM does not AutoPlay, open Windows Explorer (or File Manager).
Double-click your CD-ROM drive folder to display its contents, and
double-click the file named AUTORUN.EXE to start the opening screen.
Windows 95 How & Why is optimized to run on a system with Windows 95
installed. To save your hard disk space, the application runs entirely
from the CD-ROM, so performance on a single-speed CD-ROM drive may be
slow in some instances, such as displaying video and animation.
Running Windows 95 with earlier versions of Windows
---------------------------------------------------
Windows 95 How & Why can be run with Windows 3.1 or 3.11, but Help will
not be available.
If you experience errors, double-click Setup.exe in the How&why directory
on the CD-ROM.
